Brief Introduction

Advanced 4-way server with E5 CPU. Inspur Yingxin NF8420M3 is a newly designed

high-end 4-processor rack server based on Intel® Romley EP 4S platform technology. It supports Intel® Xeon CPU of E5-4600 series, PCI-E 3.0, 4-channel high-speed memory and other latest technologies. The product has inherited Inspur server’s traditional idea of creating greatest value for customers. It is specially designed for customers that have high demand for cost and performance such as the customers from government, public institutions, education, military, large enterprises, etc.

Functional Features

It adopts Intel® Xeon processors of E5-4600 series, QPI rate up to 8.0GT/s, high-speed cache up to 20MB. Combined with Hyper-threading and Turbo Boost Technology technologies, it can not only effectively control the power consumption of whole system, but also provide more powerful computing ability.

New data instructions set—AVX—can double the floating-point calculation capacity, greatly accelerating floating-point computation intensive applications such as the mainstream HPC applications, multimedia applications, etc.

32 DIMMs use DDR3 1066/1333/1600MHz memory, up to 1TB. The CPU integrated 4-channel memory controller support memory hot backup, memory mirroring and other advanced features.

Integrate quad Gigabit network interfaces, optional dual 10Gigabit network interfaces, providing affluent network support for virtualization application.

In 4U chassis are total 8 high-speed PCI-E 3.0 expansion slots, of which there are 2 hot-swap ones, and twice of the PCI-E 3.0 broadband, which can fully meet customers’ diverse expansion demands.

FAN preventive maintenance design, disassembly and assembly of the whole system without tools, and blue unified buckle prompt reveal the people-oriented design concept of Inspur server everywhere.

Through the unique air duct design and FAN intelligent dynamic control, it realizes the perfect balance between heat and mute. For noise control, it can compare with tower server in idle state.
